Uses: Digitek is a digitalis glycoside. It works by increasing the force of contraction of the heart and slowing heart rate.

Digitek tablets were recalled after the discovery of manufacturing defects that may have allowed twice the amount of active ingredients to be placed in the heart medication. Individuals taking Digitek tablets may suffer from an illness known as Digitalis Toxicity with symptoms including cardiac instability, vomiting, dizziness, and even death.
